hey, here's my new project...
1993 Nissan 240sx Coupe SR20DET S13 front end w/ HID All i have is an exterior pic right now, it's in the shop getting (among other things) the stock t-25 replaced with a gt28r with a prototype equal-length bottom mount manifold from Arizona Forced Induction.... I'll get hp figures and more pics of the engine/interior when it gets back to me in a couple weeks.. ![]() |

actually i bought the car from a guy who had already had the sr with the jdm front conversion done...i thought it would be both cheaper and easier to go ahead and buy a car with all of the essentials done to it rather than build my own. As far as the sr swap, when i was looking into doing it myself, everybody said to go ahead and upgrade to the z32 maf since it's only about $300 more and is apparently one of the most limiting factors to your build, especially if you get a red top instead of black top sr.

i believe it has a black top sr...still debating on getting the car or not but it does have all the things pretty much that i would do to it
the sr20 silvia front clip turbo upgrade nice front mount intercooler just needs a little work to it also nice rims, love the lip on them ![]()

thanks for all of the positive reviews people. As far as the question of whether or not to buy one for yourself, HKSevo, I have been thrilled to have mine, even though it's only been a couple of days of driving. It's my first turbo car, and the pull on it is amazing. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

bout time i got a new 240 brother. welcome. gimme some specs and future plans. and if you need info im pretty knowledgable on almost anything that has to do with 240s lol (200sx) or (180sx) lol

specs (that I know of) are as follows:
Red top (stock internals) Godspeed FMIC HKS SSQ BOV HKS Wastegate actuator (this was how he was controlling boost, it was set at 14psi with the t-25) Garrett GT28R AFI equal length Mani HKS 3" turbo-back exhaust w/ test pipe (Hi-Power) HKS Super Suction Intake Nismo Short-Throw Shifter JDM Viscous LSD (upgrade prolly coming soon) Apex'I Super AFC I have all the receipts from when the other owner had the car, but they're at the insurance company I was going with. Apparently there were a lot of "racing" modifications done to the car according to Liberty Mutual, so they won't even look at me, even though I"m 24 with a spotless driving record. So I went with Progressive.. Paying 135 a month for full coverage on the 240 and liability on my dd integra....not too bad. I'll update the mod list once i get all of the reciepts back... As far as future plans, a new paint job (either repainting it the original white or flat black..haven't decided price wise yet...) Putting the power steering back in...sorry, i'm a girl when it comes to creature comforts later on this summer probably upgrading to cf hood/trunk GT2871R bigger injectors Bride seats new carpet (the one in it right now is NASTY) probably some kind of nitrous intercooler spray kit (mainly for the bling...i'm gonna be putting the car in some shows over the summer once the paint gets laid) Double-Din navigation unit Apex'I AVCR Wideband O2 Horsepower figures with the GT28r are prolly gonna be around the 300-310whp mark...once the GT2871r goes on, I'll be happy with high 300s low 400s... |

thanks for the compliments...
as far as the lsd, i dunno how nice it is, but i'll prolly sell it, and speaking of selling old parts, i'll have the t-25 up for sale very soon in case anyone wants it... apparently very little shaft play... And i still haven't received the receipts back so i honestly don't know what kind of wheels are on the car...the center caps are missing. |

Okay, finally got the receipts back from insurance...mods that i haven't mentioned are as follows:
