wow that's really nice. I actually thought about painting the top half of the car black (from the pillars up). I've seen it around and they all turn out nice. I'm still about 3-4 wks away from actually pulling the car into a booth, so i have time to think about it...

yea the shop that the car is at has some pretty nice projects going on... the white mkIII supra next to mine is awaiting a 2jz powerplant, there's an rb25 240 that was on its way to the shop, and the flat black eclipse in the background has a built 4g63 going in with a gt35r

no i think the seats are sold but i told him to get some old school bride's.

oh and the guy did the oil catch can wrong today, and said lets go for a ride. we did, and oil got all over that clean ass engine bay, the owner wasnt driving but was pissed haha, so i jetted.

what color do you have in mind for the finished product? and some advice, if you plan on doing a cage, ever, now is the time to do it before its painted. just save up the extra money and trust me, going without the car or paint is completely worth it because a clean car with a clean cage is the best car.

yea i've been toying with the idea of putting a cage in it...especially since i'm looking at redoing the seats and carpet soon. I've also got a contact that can do cages REALLY cheap, apparently pretty much at cost. as far as colors...i haven't decided yet, but just to get it to the shows, i've been toying with maybe doing a car wrap for the next couple of months... digital camo...
this is kinda what it will look like only the colors will be shades of gray, white and black..

alright i got the car back, for the most part. What was done is the z32 maf, equal length exhaust mani, apexi power fc stand alone, the head was re-studded, the exhaust was patched, and a new thermostat switch setup was put in. As you can see, the thing that is lacking is the pipe where the bov should go. I'm waiting on the flange to get here on thursday where i'll take the car back up there and have the flange welded on and have the pipe coated to make it look polished. The tune is also slightly off and the idle rpm needs to be bumped up a lil bit to compensate for the current being drawn from the fans and other electrical components.. it keeps wanting to die when the engine is warmed up and the idle drops to around 700 once the fans kick on.

BTW... here in a couple months, this car might be for sale, depending on what my financial situation is like... i have some other goals that i want to accomplish before the end of the year and the only way to do so might be through the sale of the car....
