As far as the fuel gauge, most of the time it is the sending unit, which is in the tank, which cause the gauge to not read right.
What do mean by 'flipping' the shackles to the other side? Alot of different places sell lowering shackles for the rear. Check this out. If you get both shackles, you get a 4 inch drop in the rear. |

don't wanna lower the front... the truck looks raked and i want it to be flat

If you want to just even out the rear, just get the rear most shackle kit. Those are designed to level the rear with the front. The majority of trucks are 2 inches higher in the rear than the front.
I woudnt go moving any thing around in the back unless you really want to slam it and then you will have to do a 'flip kit' and put the leaf springs under the axle = 6 inch drop in the rear. |

alright some more progress... camera went dead so i couldn't take anymore... tomorrow i'll have the back tires on too so i'll take pics then.

so i want to move it around and i start it up and it starts idling at 2k rpms so i decide it's the carb and i go a try to twist the pin to get the idle down but it doesn't do anything... just keeps on idling at 2k... i **** around with it some more ... nothing... so i get pissed off and say **** it ... i wanted to have it on the road last month but theres so much thing i have to do just to pass inspection and this doesn't make it better...
anyone who can help me with that???...

thanks guys. for now i can't do much since theres about 2 feet of snow on the ground and it's sitting outside...
just doing little things to it... just got a new camera so i'll be taken newer shots in the spring! it's more of a head ache then anything right now since it has no use to me yet but just wastes my money.. oh well in time i guess
