I found a simplish way of plumbing the turbo recently and it has once again sparked my interest

my dads old s10 had that motor, damn it was slow, personaly id drop in a 3.4 out of a camaro and turbo that, the 2.8 is a piece of garbage

I would just go for the 4.3 since there are so many of them besides theres no replacement for displacment

i've read to many bad things about people turbo'in a 4.3 and how long they last, and i know im not gonna be beatin the shit outta mine but still, i want it reliable.. and i havent seen to many 3.1 turbo'ed so its different.. my buddy thats got the camaro done is talkin to the guy who did the heads for him for me. ill prob end up getting that turbo sent to him for port and polish within the next two weeks, and im hoping to order the cam this weekend

so a lil update, i got the alternator where i want it to be, i still need to modify the bracket a bit so it aligns properly for the belt. Also got the tailgate and rollpan off, picking that new bed up tom!! also found a guy with headers i will need to mount up this turbo, he only wants 75 bucks for them so im takin them..

Engine bay free of harness, im gonna hide all the wires in the cab..

got the bed home yesturday afternoon, its in great shape!! and bodyline is shaved so thats gotta come undone but no biggie..

i've been workin on it as much as possible but just seem to be to busy.. i have the intake off the truck again and about to take it to get port and polished, and the intake holes bored bigger so i can stick on a bigger tb. the beds completely lined up now.

I gettin rid of the sahved bodyline on the bed though, i just think it gives the truck more shape if its there, plus that bodyline was filled in with body filler, proper way would be metal strips.. ill try to get some pics of everything tonight for you guys
