To say its way better is kind of dumb to say.Things are only better depending on your view and I'd rather the 13b!
The LS1 swap isn't the worst idea in the world. Especially considering the amount of aftermarket goodies available for them. And the weight difference between a 13btt and an ls1 is very little. I would say that it would be a good way to go for easily affordable performance. But I would never, ever do such a thing to an RX7 mtself!

Hey guys I have owned both cars and i can say the Ls1 swap is the best thing to ever happen to the rx-7. and the reason i say this is a 13b only last 40000 miles or less the more horse the shorter it last like mabye my last one of 5000 miles and the 13b is so hard to get any torque out of it. When all else is said and done you know whats parked in my driveway 04 gto,99 ws6, and a 78 camaro. But i do miss that little 13b just couldn't see rebuilding it every 5 to 25k miles:thumpup:
