Civic Hatch: 1.6L SOHC VTEC, Built Internals, RDR Turbo Manifold, Hondata S200, RC Engineering 550cc Injectors, 15 psi, FMIC, OBX LSD, BFG Drag Radials, GT35 turbo, 3" Downpipe, full interior 2 tires in the trunk, and a cage.

I couldn't figure out the zoom so you guys will have to use your imagination. They ran to 140 mph and the Civic was about 4-5 cars ahead.

damn that was sweet i like the civic pulling rubber all through 2nd gear.

but i have a question? are you sure about that 18psi on the cobra?

stock a cobra pulls 370 -380 hp now force fed at 18psi a 4.6L DOHC SVT Cobra motor would pull about 500 - 600 hp ( edited in typo 5-6 not 6-7 )

and as fast ( and cool i might add ) that civic is it shouldnt take the cobra

was the cobra stock and buddy just yanking your chain ?

ths vid shows a good launch but it just doesnt seem right

nice vid btw

Yeah I don't think it was 18 psi either. That should have spun like mad then spun some more. It does have a DOHC 4.6 and a Procharger/Intercooler. I might be able to snap some pictures of it. They are going to run again this weekend. I'll try and get more details from the Mustang owner then. The guys who built the Civic think it should be good for high 12's (obviously not that run since he spun 1st and 2nd, then bogged into 3rd).

Oh yeah, the owner of the Mustang is changing gears and plumbing nitrous. It should be interesting. I have a feeling that he is running 5 psi or so.

ok that sounds right. 5-7 psi is stock

Cobras are supercharged from the factory.

are you sure its not just a procharged Mustang GT and not an actual Cobra?

stock mustang gt's of that year have a 4.6 in them
no offense just asking

Hmmm, well here's a shot of his engine bay from the meet.

It was a '99. The Cobra wasn't supercharged from the factory then. It was 360 hp DOHC 4.6.

It's definately a DOHC Mod Motor with a Procharger...
