After all the hype that was put into the ZR1, I am not impressed even with the vids posted above. 100K is cheap for "supercar status" but a 65K Zo6 with DR's has also run high 10's.......ZR1= not as impressive as the Zo6 IMO.

Put that same driver from the Z06 in the ZR1 and the gap would increase quite a bit I'm sure. The 60' times only got worse with the D/R's, wtf's with that?

^ lol TT set up would have made that thing have tooo much power to be even atainable under insurance. There are TT Zo6's out there that make well over 1000 hp.

driver this, driver that....there have been way to many vids out of the ZR1 running the 1/4 mile with nothing but unimpressive times considering the power it makes......are you telling me that not one of those drivers had any skill? The odds are against that. The only thing the ZR1 has over the Zo6 is top speed in factory stock form....which is easily matched by the Zo6 with $400 worth of aftermarket tuning.

Ranger had 3 passes in that car (its not his) and ran a 10.73 on each run, he ran his Z06 that same day and got 10.95.

^ yeah, I'm not paying $40K+ over the price of a Zo6 for an extra .2 tenths....fuk that, just get a set of long tube headers for the Zo6 and your right there.

I think with the same gearing as the Z06 it would be even faster.

Look at the lap times on the ring. ZR1>
