and i think that driver was shifting pretty damn good. i dont think a better driver is going to make up for the lack of HP in those two cars in the vid. unless a better driver can push the gas pedal farther thru the floorboards??

i think the start would have been a lil different if they where both RWD. i never thought it was fair between a rwd or fwd vs AWD. in a dig or roll when they both have high hp the AWD will out launch almost everytime.

I have always been a GTR (pre R35)fan but I would have the Vette in an instant over the new GTR. I don't care what anyone says, they are a gay auto. The computer drives the car more than the driver. I have no time for the R35 at all.

In that 2nd vid you could see you actually need skill to drive the Vette fast whereas any asshat can drive a 35 quick!

Why the R35 hate?

Why do the haters say the R35 practically drives itself -Vs- the old R34? Did the old R34 not have the trick AWD system? Did the old R34 not have the in-dash electronics, much like this new R35?

Where is this drastic change?

Yes! it has the BS launch control. Yes! it's got a semi auto gear box, and Yes! it's a pig.
But it still 6 cylinder. It's still twin-charged. It's still awd. It still performs, and handles great. So where is the problem? Sure it's a bit more complex, but making a fat girl dance like a ballerina is no easy feat.

What i find real funny though is how people say "f-uck all the electronic aids!"

It's one thing to say i prefer the ZR1, because i prefer the simpler platform. But to say the GTR is garbage, just because it's a bit more complex is just foolish.

Like i said before, whats wrong with a car that works with the driver to achieve the very best?
