I'd say any street car that can beat an R6 in any type of race deserves props. I can think of a crap-ton of prestigious Euro cars that would get trashed by both the bike and the Vette so I dont see why there is so much hate towards the Z?? To trash a better opponent is to trash everything that loses to it as well. And there is a pretty big list last time I checked...

when the race is in the vetes favour it will win. a 600 runs out of puff at 140..if they would of done it from a dig also.it would of been a fair race IMO....but wouldnt even alittle 600 pull football pitchs on a vette?

Depending on driver, either vehicle could be at a handicap from a dig. I don't know if you've ever ridden a 600 Kunt but a "just average" rider wouldn't be able to do well from a dig

well, it depends on what you call the average rider.

I know I'm not the best, and I'm not the worst.... but slipping the clutch off the line is pretty easy with a little practice.... I could smack down a z06 with a POS beat up 1992 F2 from a dig, and I'm no pro. It's power to weight hands down until aero takes over. That's why most bike and car races are gay just by their nature.

Line up a turbo gsxr750 vs. a turbo LS1. That would be a race not to fall in the homo division.

IMO a roll race isnt drag racing at all. Ive had this argument with countless people over the years and the argument never changes. I had some kid on a local forum who has a C6 Z06, tuned, with mods on spray putting down a lil over 650whp decline me when i asked for a dig. He was calling out anyone with anything on our forum............ but to an 80roll, nothing less. so when i chimed in run my bike, he said 80roll. i loled. he said im a pussy for calling him out to a dig with my bike, but what he fails to realize is if he can drive, then that vette would come around me by the time i hit 2nd.

From my point of veiw people who do roll racing cant drive their cars. Cause punching it from a 40-60-80 roll etc takes the driver out of the equation. And the excuse of oh i have too much power, or i spin, or i dont have the tires, or i dont want to break ETC, can all be thrown out the window. You gotta pay to play. And if you arent set up to dig then stay home and stfu.

very good point there hans...i just think people who spend 70K on there vette dont wanna be slapped around by a 5k bike...so they make the rules suit them..

the kid is 19yrs old. i highly doubt he bout the vette. and if he can spend money on the vette, the intake, the exhaust, the chip, the nitrous, and the tune, then that lil fgt can spend some money on some tires and learn how to drive that car like a real man. if not then he should give the keys to his mom so she can go get groceries in it.




cause with a decent set of rubber and someone who knows how to drive a high hp rwd car, that C6 on spray from a dig will walk me hard. but his cop out was he doesnt want to break anything. pffffft.

i got lost on that one lol. i race all the time. havent got anything decent enough recently to want to dig on the streets, and we arent allowed at the local tracks to run a bike vs a car.

but i have some races im in the process of setting up. should be lining up with a 6XXrwhp mustang soon. 1/4 dig. should have video and be fun.
