Is that Maroon ? If so, that is a Z/28, not an SS.....good video and sounds great, but they didn't make an LS1 SS in montery maroon metallic, that is a clone.....unless my monitor is going bad...it just looked maroon to me.

It is red. I think that the lighting makes it look more maroon. It was right at night time when we took the video.

^ leave it to you to say something stupid like that. I was making a point, maybe the guy was under the impression that he had an SS when he didn't? Ever think of that? I have seen people make clones and sell them to people that don't know any better at a higher price.

He didn't seem to take offense to it, he offered the explaination of lighting and time of day, so leave it at that.

^ to maroon? yeah...ok...lol...good one. Not commonly done there skittle skipper. And, if they did re-paint an SS away from the original factory color the SS came in, all the documentation that claims it to be an SS is thrown out and the car is devalued. You can still call it an SS, but anyone who want to buy it that knows what they are looking for will check the factory option codes and see that the color is wrong, and consider it a cloned car.
