haha alot of shit if you ask me..maybe they should try and sell cars over seas.rather then lettign the europe people make design and build the cars...as we get no cameros,vettes cvt's ect... why is that? due to once the tax is put on and its put in RHD.people would rather buy german cars.rather then american..? i know wouldnt want a american high priced car.as we dont get fook all of them over here.so people pick the better made/make of car

It started in the 80s and 90s. America made some very VERY shitty cars. Unfortunately, people still believe this is true and that stigma has remained. So now, when there has been an american car ranked at least 2nd in every vehicle category in quality, there is still no one buying them.

We should just outlaw foreign cars here.

yup that is the thing.america has a real bad name for cars.which means other countrys would buy europe/jap cars well before they think about touching american cars...i guess america is like skoda.noone ever wanted a skoda.untill VW took over and made them something differnt to what there were..

it would also help if you exported cars.do euro/jap car sales out sell america made cars. ?

I'm gonna say yes. the only us made cars that sell good here are trucks. Every middle aged suburban douche bag drives a camry or highlander.

Ignorance is bliss, your statement is alot of shit if you ask me, just because you don't see many GM vehicles in your bumf*ck village that does not reflect the rest of Europe or the world, fact GM has been the best selling carmaker for 77 years, 64% of their sales are overseas, they sell over 2 million car per year in Europe that's over 9% of the market share, how are these numbers attainable if what you say is accurate.

^ not to mention foreign governments buy the shit out of Tahoes and suburbans, they are the most widely used SUV to armor up for security purposes. Not to mention that alot of Arab dudes overseas buy into the cadillac escalades, Vettes, CTSV's, and when they were new, the 4th gen fbody. People around the world buy our stuff, you just need to do some looking.

Its good to hear that, but i see this more like a psychological breakpoint... to show the "reinvention" that should already be happening in first place.
I really like GM but i cant help to wonder how can you lose money being the best selling carmaker? in south America and other countries GM sells a lot, right now I am in Colombia south America and all I see is Chevy here and Chevy there, they are really small Chevrolets but they sell.

the only GM i see are one you dont make ricer boy.i can put a list of 20 cars you dont have or make(not that canada makes anything bar ricers) there.so yes ok you sell cars.but only the ones america dont make or have....plus its only due to GM having fingers in pies.meaning they own a big share of the company....how many cameros.vettes and cvt sell over here.? you would be lucky if it even breaks 1000 with all 3 of them.....great reinvention there..we probly sold more 40 years ago then we do now....

plus dont get butt hurt about GM.your not american your asian.maybe you want to be american.so you can call GM domestic.but your not.so honda is your domestic.
