1st of all, how good an engine sounds is subjective, 2nd of all, the main purpose of an engine is to make power not noise, it's far more important how well an engine performs than how it sounds, unless you're a ricer or import fan who has ran out of excuses.

shows how much burgh knows, he spouts off his c0ck holster before even knowing what he is saying. That hood is carbon fiber, that clear section that is raised is not plastic, it is a clear polycarbonate that provides an added rigidity for the carbor fiber based hood.
besides burgh is just pissed that the ZR1 can and will trump any production car the brits could offer.

Yea, i don't like the see through hood thingy either... but its not showing off another piece of plastic, its showing off the top of the intercooler. an actual component of the car.
