Turbo LS1 Camaro vs 11 Sec STi and 11 Sec EVO (dig races)

Camaro was on street tires and couldn't lay into it until the top of 2nd gear. Both the evo and the sti are low 12/high 11 sec cars. The Turbo on the camaro was custom made by the owner and I think its a stock motor. Still has A/C, Power steering, ABS and all that good stuff.

Camaro didnt lose a race BTW.

The sti looked like he got him at the end. In the evo vid looks like he got got in all but the last angle.

Its hard to tell in the videos, but he passed them and would hit the brakes right away. He didnt lose any of those races.

The camaro is a budget build, he built everything him self including all of the turbo kit. Hes saving up for a 9 inch but right nows hes on a stock rear end and the fear of it leaving him stranded makes him run street tires and baby the throttle until a decent speed.

Its fast either way.

His race car is a supra, this is just a toy he built on his own for fun. It runs pretty damn good for what it is and how limited his launches are.

Which is all the more reason NOT to launch it hard. Give hime a break. Maybe he just got the thing put on and tuned. And everyone knows on this board that turboing an LS1 is gonna break the bank anyhow. He might be in the process of getting a rear end and tires so he can rape those guys every time.
