the viper is 47xrwhp so thats like 20rwhp more I don't think that 20rwhp overcomes that 2-300lbs it weighs over the Z06. But the Viper did win no doubts about that there son.

comments below the vid claims a 3.55 rear end upgrade too. That would make the difference.

yes, the viper is putt'n down 478 at the wheel and it's got a 3.55 gear upgrade. FYI, viper's best 1/4mi run was 11.4@124 w/ drag radial...
the corvette was stock.. not far.
i bet it would of been a lot closer if it was head to head bone stock

Well, the Z06 is capable of high 10's given a near perfect launch and radials. But most drivers do well to squeeze off 11.7 or better. I figure w/ the right driver the Z06 should have that Viper every which way regardless of mods or not. (At least in a drag race)
