whats up with putting a 4l80e tranny in it? i think a t56 would have been better.

At this power level, T56 would be slower et wise than an auto and they are tough to keep together north of 600 hp. That said, there are a lot of auto's that would be better suited than the 4l80e.

UKunt,they chose the v6 mustang body and the GM powerplant just to be a lil bit different.

i was thinking the same thing as far as the transmission goes, a built TH400 is hard to beat

^ ha ha, they might want it to be able to drive on the street easily, powerglide is a tad much. Th400 will do the trick, but since they are going w/ a 6 speed T56, I doubt they will keep traction until they hit 4th gear. lol

I dont even want to see this video. i'm assuming they did not use a foxbody.

I'd stick with the 6 speed just for the thrill of it.

I'm with you on this one, I don't see what the fun is in an automatic, even though it's usually faster.
