1/4 mile in 12.9 maybe not as far as porsche standards go, but overall it is a quick car.

yea guess your right but lets say if you or me were to race it id get pissed if i didnt beat it by at least 3...4 cars

Thats part of the problem with "displacement" challenged cars: less room for driver error.
You have to be spot on to get the best results possible. Be in the wrong gear, bog a bit too much etc and you wont be able to make up the ground. When you have a motor that makes power everywhere in the rev range, you dont get with your pants completely down even if you are off your game that day. On paper they should be faster, but in practice, I'll put my money on an LS1 camaro any day of the week, stock to stock. Ive raced a caymen from a highway roll and creeped by him. |
