I shot this footage this weekend.. had a couple of chance encounters with a C5 and C6 vette and did a couple of 160mph runs.

what you didn't see was the flyby that both vettes did on us. Because we didn't expect it, I didn't have the camera ready. We just returned the favor. Funny, they didn't want any when we called their bluff *shrug*

see all you guys did was flybys and thats nothing big, if you do a ricer flyby on someone its not like there gonna have a chance at racing you, if you want a realy race go find a stoplight somehwere and run but flybys are good for just sh!ts and giggles, still a cool video tho and did you guys have anything done to the srt 8 cause im looking at buying an srt8 charger?

Why don't you go with a 6.0 gto? your only getting 25 less bhp, but it weighs 400 lbs less. And they're both about $35,000... i think. HOWEVER, I think the charger looks better, but performance standpoint i think the gto would be better for your buck.

well to be honest im not buying the car my dad is but he wants me to research it for him and i just wanted to know what you could do to them, but your right i would buy a gto for the money, its a better investment but im not buying it so i dont get to say anything about it

I think it would have been much more interesting if an 06' Z06 happened to pull a flyby on the Viper...Probably would've been the end of the video right there though. Good footage, just need to make a better application, like a Dodge compilation or something. Keep making footage and then add all of the best scenes together. That will be more effective I think.

i agree. the charger and 300c parts bored the hell outta me. if i wanted to see that id ask my dad to go make a vid like that.

YOu can get GTO's cheaper than that now their like mid to high 20's now that they are "old"

toss on a borla and a new airfilter and your close to the same hp. give or take 10 less

Toss on a Borla and a new airfilter on the charger and still the same difference in HP. Charger SRT8 and 400hp GTO are neck in neck in ETs. Heads up will come down to driver every time. Cars are almost identical in performance. Ofcourse the LS2 is cheaper to mod than the 6.1 Hemi.

the SRT-8 300c is bone stock, down to the air filter even

I was at the races one night watching some top fuel cars... in between the top fuel guys they were doing bracket racing. There was a bone stock yellow GTO there running 12.9x all night. I went and asked the guy if he had anything done because I was so surprised. You couldn't even hear his car go down the track...
Maybe there was some good air that night, I dunno
