Not Bad but either the guy that owns the suby cant drive his STI or its not a STI or the cobalt got some unkown super quiet mod that makes it suddenly fast! I,ve actually run an cobalt ss with my dakota r/t and smoked it. my truck runs mid 14's

You guys do know that there are two different cobalt SS right? One is a super charged 2.0 and the other is a N/A 2.4. That guy had a different pully on his s/c and maybe the stage 2 upgrade. With just the stage 2 upgrade he would be puting 240hp to the ground.

Yeah, stock cobalt ss' are low 14's stock (with a good driver), with the stage 2 upgrade or a better pully puts them in the high 13's. I have GM's Eco hand book and they can get to the 400hp mark real easy. I think its funny how people under estimate them.

Sooo much hate, Sooo much anger.......Here is some food for thought, as nice as the STI's are, if you take the price difference between the 2 cars ($11,685 for my area) and spent that on the cobalt. You would have a cobalt that would crush the STI. Don't get me wrong I love the STI, but bang for the buck I'll take the Cobalt

On a new car you make monthly payments. When buying perfoamance parts its cash or credit. And if you choose credit..the intrest will be enough to buy two more of whatever you bought! I do get your point though.
