maro was fast. not every merc owner is rich and is an ass but to own a sl55 you gotta have some dough but you dont have to be an ass.

only if you think a mere 385 ft. lbs can overcome the merc's 516 and best a 12.55 quarter mile... and 0-60 times are the same (4.5). Who cares if it has 3 more horsepower. now, if we were talking about corners then you might have a point.

The maro doesnt have to have much done. An Ls1 on the Highway is a monster.

I have full bolt on's on my 00 SS and have a best time of 12.26 and I can't make anything for traction. If you go to the other camaro sites you will see that there are stock SS's cutting 12.7's and if you bolt on exhaust from the headers back...BIG DIFFERENCE...so very very believable vid.

Oh and torque when your roling at 70...doesnt mean as much as horsepower. Not to mention the SL55's torque seems alot less impressive when you take into consideration it's wieght..
Lets see Camaro 385 @ about 3500 lbs
SL55 516 @ 4300 lbs
