Also, Just wondering why your putting down such low numbers? I guess the RWD setup has alot of drivetrain loss. Stock the FWD's usally put down more then 200whp, at least our regal did.
EDIT: Just watched your other videos. Do you have any kind of intake? your supercharger is so quiet.

I'm getting 245 rwHP...you might of confusing my 183 rwKW(KiloWatts) figure? The intake is stock apart from some extra custom ducting added by myself. I need to add a larger & thinner walled 4" MAF pipe and relocate the MAF sensor closer to the TB and it will make more 'whine'. My exhaust is fairly loud which hides the SC noise too. Cheers Rob S. |

I never actually got a completely stock dyno figure, but the break down of power figures as different mods were added was.....
143kw/191hp - Full exhaust added 164kw/220hp - Full exhaust + 3.25 pulley + 1.8:1 roller rockers (14.3 ET) 183kw/245hp - as above + interceptor ECU and custom tune (13.2 ET with drag radials) kw x 1.34 = hp Some of my earlier vids might show lower power figures, in titles, as they were made when it was less modded. Stock power was probably around 128kw/171hp at rear wheels. GM-H listed 171kw/229hp at flywheel here in OZ. I was looking at your info on the Bay Area Racing site and your ET 13.20 seconds @ xx mph - 1.70 60 Foot / 0.90 R.T (24 Oct 2004)...What mods have you got to achieve those times and you 60' is impressive!! What is the weight of your car also. Mine is 1667kg/3667lb Cheers |

Car weighed in at around 3490lbs/1583kq www.cardomain.com/id/deanh8 Next things that are going to be done to it are the Gears, Injectors, Whipple 2300AX Twin Screw Supercharger, and some better half shafts. What was your stock gear ratio? Im just wondering If it sucked as bad as ours does (2.93's) With raised shiftpoints its like this.. 1-2 = 40mph/64kph 2-3 = 100mph/160kph 3-4 = ~165-170mph/265-273kph (only had it up that high one time, was more focused on the road forgot when exactly it shifted, or if it shifted )GT/P Showed these numbers, and they are pretty accurate (flywheel hp) 303hp/225kw 398tq. It has alot of torque down low in the RPM range, makes it pretty fun to drive. :thumb:

So you have a little weight advantage compared to my setup
![]() We only have 98RON fuel from the pump which I dose with octane booster for strip use so probably ends up at approx 100RON. This has always limited my pulley choice so far. Ive got an extensive engine buildup in progress now and the factory L67 was taken out the car only last thursday. Hopefully the car will be back on the road within a month or so. The stock non LSD diff ratio was 3.07 and with 164rwkw saw a ET of 14.3 @ 95mph With the LSD and 3.73 gears see's we run mid to low 13's in cool weather up to high to mid 13's in warmer weather with my current mods and 183rwkw. Mph is now around the 100-101.5 through the speed trap. I'm still using stock revlimit and shift points but that will be changed when the new engine goes in to better work with the cam and head work etc. My Cardomain page is.... http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/537446 Last edited by ravenvtsuper6; 04 Sep 2005 at 12:29 am. |
