I can believe it needed oil to light em up like that. Some of them old vettes are beat to hell. I used to have an 86 monte with the lo-po 305 and somethin like 2.73ish gears and raced a vette like that stop sign to stop sign and we were almost dead even. Only thing my car had was the old flip the air cleaner lid trick and a str8 pipe.. which i guess shoulda been good for about a 100-150 horse gain lol. O wait i also had a HP accel coil.
