Default Canadian Pontiac 409 Video

Yes guys, this is for real !
Canadian Pontiacs were always built on the Chevrolet chassis ( Chevrolet dimensions ).
This was ( I sold this car a couple years ago to help finance my 62 Belair race car ) my 1964 Parisienne Custom Sport convertible.
409 425HP 4 speed ( on of 5 built ).
This was not a race car. Basically restored with a set of headers.
Shift at about 6300 RPM. Yes, this is how you buy 'em !
In Edmonton, on factory stock bias ply white wall tires, it ran a sea level adjust E/T: of 13.50 @ 105-106 MPH. ( REALLY bad 1/2 throttle tire spin in 1st ! )
Only made one pass like that though. They sent me home, because any rag top under 14 seconds, needs to have a roll bar.

My daughter took this video, from the passenger seat

Here's a couple pictures of the car:

Basically, it's like a Catalina body shell. Grand Prix interior and grille ( but without those goofy signal lights ), Bonneville tail end and rocker chrome ( shortened 4" & 4" )
All built on a Chevrolet chassis, withthe superior Chevrolet engines !

Hayes Clipper ?
You asked !!!

http://www.bruneauperformance.ca/68h...005llf1024.jpg

Hayes Anderson from 1922-1946. Then Hayes Manufacturing until 1975. The most successful Canadian vehicle manufacturer, built in Vancouver BC.
Peterbilt bought them out in the early 70's, then closed the place down ( until that time, you wouldn't have seen a Peterbilt in western Canada ).

Looking to set this up to haul a 5/6 car trailer.
