The Z06 could only do mid-low 12's at 117 to 120mph?!?
WTF is up with that, the C6 Z06 should be trapping way higher than that. In fact, the Z06 should be running like the yellow car at the beginning of the video. I'm dissapointed if that is as fast as the new Z06 will go, the old Z06 could match those numbers.

The Yellow Vette in the beginning is a C6 Z06. That was at Beech Bend (Bowling Green KY) one of my home tracks.

The cars were running poor times do to the track conditions and very poor drivers; not one decent launch, excluding the yellow car. There were four different people driving the Z06, two of them were women. |

FWIW, the track was slippery and is notoriously slow. The ambient temperature was 48 degrees, and there was a 25-35 mph headwind. Nobody was turning big numbers. There was several people driving the black cars (at least two Z's were there), and some were better than others. Sometimes, they had passengers on board. I'm sure the times could have been improved upon, and they certainly aren't representative, but there shouldn't be any mystery about what the car will do. As you suggested, it's basically physics. Proof: http://www.digitalcorvettes.com/foru...threadid=35613 You can go to breathless performance's website, but there is not much info on the car yet. |

I went to Breathlessperformance website. So Im sure we will see pictures if its the same car. Forums arent proof guys come on. One thing I have noticed different was the test model Ive seen has a small checkerboard decal. So this car might be a aftermarket body kit C6 and that forum says he is spraying but forums arent proof. I wasnt there when they ran but I remember the day and the weather wasnt to be out racing in. But Ive heard 123 Trap Speed from someone that was there. But the ET was in the low 12s and the track officals only did a quick spray of the track and everyone was *****ing about it. So Im not agruing about it , just looks like one of the many test Z06s at the plant.

We all know 120-123 Trap speeds are good for 11s. But the track that day was ****ty thats for sure and the officals werent spraying compound so low ETs are a given.
