haha that happend to me once when i was in my shop class. i checked the oil level and it seemed fine but i overlooked it, i started the mower up and it ran for 2 mins, the engine seized up and the connecting rod snapped into millions of tiny pieces.. it was much more exciting then seeing that jeep die... i prefer it when things go boom..

at most of the VW show/drag races i go to, they always have an "engine blow". The set a engine up on a stand and u buy raffle tickets to guess how long it will run before it blows up. Last show the engine ran for 3 minutes with no oil, so they hooked up a 50 shot of Nitrous and it ran for 45 seconds longer untill a rod let loose.
