actually, if you look deeper into the sport, you'll find it is actually pretty intense.. it may seem boring, but anything can happen at any second, as in any race. and some people think its boring to see cars just going straight for a 1/4 mile.. differt styles for different interests, whatever

Its one of those things you ahve to be way into. I try and watch NASCAR when I can, but without picking a favorite to watch, it sucks.

having a favorite is important, but i like to see drivers mix it up a bit, some upstart make a serious go of it, challenge everyone. whoever wins wins, so long as its a fair win, not on a tchnicality, im happy to see someone how skill. even if my driver doesnt win, as long as everyone puts on a good show its good

two totally different types of racing, and while i vastly prefer rally, NASCAR is still legit racing

So your telling me that a pack of 40 cars racing 3 wide at 190mph is boring. Or 43 800hp stock cars on a 36 degree banked 1/2 mile bullring (Bristol) is boring. I don't find cars racing agianst the clock interesting.

its not that its against the clock, its that theyre doing 60mph on 180degree hairpins with a cliff and no guardrail. the contol rally drivers have is amazing

tho i agree that NASCAR can be pretty intense. its just when they settle into a rhythym and theres no passing that it gets kinda dull.

I guess we all have our likes and dislikes. Although I do like watching the pikes peak hill climb.

Rally is so good because the whole time each diver has no idea if he's winning or not. So he's taking the car to it limits each turn. You cant watch those WRC video's and not say thats bad ass. And they're not particularly highlight reals. They are, but the video it shows happens all the time. You cant realy make a compelation of NASCAR...it would look like the normal race with music.

I have respect for Nascar, I just cant watch it... aples and oranges.
