I Walter Rohl beat Ari the first year they went. Ari had came back the next year, and could only out pace Walter Rohl's time by 0.63 seconds. Keep in mind that it was Rohls only time up the hill, Ari was on his 2nd year there. Eitherway, they still both managed to shatter all records by 19-21 seconds their first times up. Outclassing even the sprint's and open wheel cars. I'd love to have either of those guys take me for a ride up pikes peak in an Audi or the peugot

Ari is actually not fully retired from rallying. He drove again in this years Paris-Dakar rally (altought they don't start from Paris anymore).
