Maybe I came across too strongly in the previous few posts, I'm just passionate about peoples' safety.
I'll be the first to apologize in the regards of you thinking I called you a bad parent. On the subject of me putting my son in danger - there's always risk. period. There's risk w/ just driving to the store to get milk and eggs. Anything can happen at ANY time, ANYwhere. Once again - I don't know a single thing about you pal, but it just struck a wrong chord w/ me.

^ I'm sorry, maybe you were having a bad day/moment, but ANYONE who considers themselves even a decent parent knows that anything can be a danger to kids. Hell, my father bought my son a BB gun for x-mas.....I was pissed, a 6 yr. old w/ a BB gun? HELL NO. I took it away and he can have it when he is 10 yrs old because I know what kids do w/ BB guns...lol.

My comments on kids and BB guns
[Thread Drift] I think there is a difference between torturing animals, and just killing them. I killed every living thing in my backyard (and adjacent yards) as a kid after I got my first air rifle. I even kept score with my friends, and I don't have any human body parts in my freezer . I aimed for fast kills though, and if the animal suffered, I felt bad. The piece of the "responsible hunter" puzzle I was missing though was actually making use of my game. I never ate anything I killed. That came from not having the proper upbringing for a hunter. I learned that later in life, and its something I plan to correct in my children. A responsible hunter kills his prey fast, and respects its death by making use of it as a resource (food, clothing, ect). Wasteful killing is tantamount to gluttony (something the Christians are right about). [/Thread Drift]

good message but i agree, teach kids how to avoid crashes by knowing how to control a car in all situations and teaching them that paying attention is about the most important thing they can do. People are always gonna drive stupid so learning to avoid them is a must for everyone else
