That red truck with the cap was the coolest car ever! what an awesome sleeper (except for the slicks) I love the back window opening up on the launch too.

Change the background and its a typical weekend at any drag strip in the country. To me, that isn't as fun as real street racing. Its not the illegal part so much, just the fact of racing someone else in their real car. With few exceptions, people don't trailer their slicked drag car around looking for street races (and if you are about to type a reply giving me an example, read the first three words in my previous sentence again....I know it happens, and those people are tools).

The mystery of not knowing what the other guy has is a big part of the excitement. Another big part is "the hunt". Seeing another car you think might be worth racing, and working on catching up, getting next to them, ect.

Sorry to be a "downer", there were cool cars in the vid, but its not street racing just because its on a street.
