guess all that power is going to waste with the suspension not quite dialed in to those turns. beaten by the 911 gt2, carerra gt, GT-R (not likely), zonda f, ACR, enzo and mc12.

Compared to the recent vids of the Viper, ZR1, GTR, and 911 on the ring, that driver was taking it REAL easy. He wasn't pushing for a hot-lap. That looked like race-pace, where he was going for "fast-but-safe".

Honestly, thats what I thought as well. But, given the explanation, the driver was just not 100% confident of the car. Thats likely the reason behind it.

^^^ Even the Stig messes up once in a while. You have a distorted view of what makes a professional. A professional doesn't hop in a new car and push the envelope before he is ready. A professional doesn't wreck an expensive piece of machinery because he wanted to meet some unrealistic goal of being a master of his craft right out of the starting gate.

yah that is correct but this Vid am sure is not for the first lap he did driving the CCX .
i think we all agree before they make this Vid they have made allot of prepare. but i disagree with you a PRO will have no issues with testing the car for the limits if they asked him to do that . that why they are paying him ?? to reach the max of your skills and the Max of the car you need to have a relatively unrealistic goal and aim to reach it thats the only way to know the limits but on the other side the Pro will reach the car limits and yah some times he will break them and hit the car as accidents are in every racing sport . so its ok to f*** a car as shit happens so there is something wrong in this Vid as maybe its perpose was for normal car test not to see the cars timing on the Nurburgring if this is correct will will see a nother Vid . t |

Yes, I don't think this is a "release" video of the sort Chevy and Nissan put out to showcase their car's abilities.
