*edit: i installed the software but there is no "dvd to avi" conversion. im going to put it on vcd

*edit again: THAT PROGRAM IS FRIGGIN COMPLICATED! anyone got a more simple program that will let me rip the dvd?

yes..ive got stage 4 episodes 1-6 on dvd...

anyway, i ripped it but it doesnt allow you to choose subtitles OR have any sound!

bcs, ill use my normal program (dvd shrink) to rip the vob files and ill see about sending them to you, maybe you can convert them?

no need if someone can take these ripped dvd files and turn them into .avi and host them :P only problem is that you have to select english subtitles and you cant do that with .avi

tell ya what...anyone that wants a dvd copy of this or any other of the initial d series can talk to me on aim (blakob7) and we can work out shipping/payment for a lot less than what you would pay on ebay. note: this is not illegal b/c im not charging you for the content..just the physical dvd and time spent.

well....im sending bcs the dvd now. its close to 4gb worth of data so expect this to be done sometime around new years. no really, im sending it and im guessing hes going to chop it up into the 2 seperate episodes and host it. just hold tight folks.

i dont think either went through...i got disconnected from bcs' server and bcs logged off aim (i think that was the problem)

gonna have to try this with a more reliable transfer
