Default Drag Racing 101

I have been around cars all my life but until 3 years ago, I had never been to a drag strip. While I knew people who had run out there, I did not know just how open to the public it was. From looking for an actual starting line to leaving on too much adrenaline, there are as many things that can make a newbie feel like a newbie. I put this video together to help out those who have never gone drag racing.

20 bucks is the norm. This varies from market to market. I have paid as much as 50 and as little as 5.

Quality stuff right there man.

Good vid, excellent representation, no fluff, and most of all - you told it how it usually goes.

I'd have to agree w/ your last commentary - please do not just leave the strip - and head out for the road -take a breather, relax for awhile, and then take off. Makes the drive home alot easier, and less costly.

Again, good vid man. Thanks for that.

dude.......lucky S.O.B.

Down here near Houston, if DPS get you going anywhere near 100+ - you're @$$ is goin to jail, do not pass go, do not collect $200 dollars - go directly to jail.

at least you were civil, and admitting (openly) that you were in the wrong. That right there prolly saved your bacon.

Do you mind if I make a few DVDs of this and distribute it to the guys I race formula cars with? I'd be sure to put your site and credits on the dvds. Most of us Formula Dodge/F2000 guys have modded street cars and nowhere to race them... I think they'd all appreciate being shown a way to be able to just run them flat legally for a bit of fun on a weekend when we don't have a race...

I will definitely snag them in HD then... I'll even put some props in my onboard videos from my upcoming race in about a week.
