The problem with it is it looks exactly the same as every other pontiac model. When the **** is pontiac going to come out with an original looking car (other than the solstice)???

i like pontiacs, since my parents have owned mostly all pontiacs up until we sold the bonnevile gxp bout a year ago.. i seen a red G8 at the dealer in chicago over the weekend and they dont look bad at all.. i'd take it, but still would rather have gto anyday

Despite the fact that the M5 is still better, it's a pretty good commercial.
And the G8 GT is pretty much the best car pontiac has made in a loong time. In comparison with other domestics, it's pretty sweet. I'd definitely take one over a new charger. But Talon's right, Pontiacs need a new look, especially at the front. The holden and vauxhaull versions look much much better.

there is a vid on tech floating around of a bone stock G8 running a 13.1 on this guys initial run. More break in miles and a few more passes under his belt and high 12's bone stock in a family sedan will be nice.

2008 G8 (888 edition) Dyno numbers inside - LS1TECH
a guy dynod it from the dealership with the salesman with him and then bought it. makes good power. but its still in ls1 territory. that ****er needs a tune badly, look at those spikes lol automatic and on 87 octane.

^ spikes are not from a tuning issue. It could be many things: wheel hop, tire spinning on the dyno, unbalanced rims, wet rollers causing slippage.....there are a few more I cannot think of.
