I'm interested to see what the actual production car can do, after seeing them set the bar that high.
Two similar times come to mind out of production cars. 7:43 and 7:42.9 from the Porsche GT3-RS and the C6 Z06 respectively. 415hp/3031 lbs and 505hp/3132 lbs. Somehow I'm sceptical about a 480hp/3800lb car matching what that "demo" car ran.

umm, add about 3-4 seconds on that time. they stopped the clock before he got back to the timing lights. at the beginning the lights are right before the first turn, not right at teh exit to the last

let's hope they can duplicate those times w/ the actual car that rolls off the showroom floor. Fast as shit so far. Power to weight is confusing as far as the times it posted.

It's not a matter of nuthugging, it's no different than every non GM person getting all excited everytime a new contender has hopes of taking out the Vette, if Nissan wants to play at the ring the Vette is a force to be reckoned with, the Vette has been a thorn in the sides of every sportscar manufacturer, I'm sorry but at the moment Japan does not have an answer for the Vette.
