no , the pistons and rods where made out off diff stuff, but they accauly had the same amount of power, ford jus changed the way they rated there power. heads where the same from what i know.

if the best he got was a 14.6 tell him to practice, i got 14.7 with my first stang first time at the track and with 230 000 kms on the clock all stock except for the borla 2 1/4 exhaust that was put on before i got it, and shitty launches cause of excessive wheel hop off the line, it even opened my passenger door once.

also ask him if his timing has been advanced, it is shit stock bump it up a few degrees and you will love the difference, trust me.

kk rico thanks for advice, his motor got like 170k on it and still runing strong. he used to have slicks on the welds but his cuzin destroyed them, those would bring down his times alot. also his car is automottic
