Any one else feel that the new initial D is lacking? Especially in comparison to the previous seasons? The drawing is much better but the story line and everything about it pretty much sucks now. I dont know, just wanted to see what you all think. Wanted to see if i'm alone on this one.

dunno about lacking, i thought the 86 v.s Miata was a nice battle, EK9 v.s 86 wasn't bad either. Only think i see lacking, FD battles. I love watching the 86, but i want to see some FD action too!

I wanna see an episode with an old school 427 shelby cobra and a ****y American driver or hell a Boss 302 or atleast one of the historic American racers. I would say the old GT 40 but that wouldn't be a very good race Would be cool to see a porsche or a ferrari in the mix too the Ferrari could have Micheal Schumacher driving it Hell even the story line for that one could be based around the F1 Grand prix they have in Japan

are you being serious? First of all, the american muscle cars would lose, they are fast goin' straight, but on winding turns like on a Togue, no ****in' way. I also doubt a Ferrari has ever been involved in Touge Racing. That's kind of like saying hey lets send a 1993 Honda Cvic to run the 1/4 against a Ferrari F50. I hope you were just joking.....

Well lets not forget that MOPAR is backing a VIPER in the D1 as well as Rhys Millens GTO..... Just something to ponder about american muscle potential when handed to the correct people... And aboutt he gt40 that would be dirty the GT40 would smoke the living shit outta them lol that thing (original) even by today standards is crazy fast.

Nope I wasn't joking. There are suspention updrades available for these cars . Not like the cars in initial d are all stock. The cobra has good handling it is a 1600 pound car and Ferraries are known for having good handling. Yes I have seen a ferrari race on the togue there is a video of it somewhere. it is racing against a viper. The viper locks up the brakes and slides off the mountain though . I don't know what it is but something tells me the cobra would have a chance, maybe it is since it is a lighter car and would have 300 more HP than the 86 . Yes i know power isn't everything but the cobra with a good driver could actually be better than the 86

I wanna see Bunta race with Takumi or some1 in the scene.... Can't wait for his WRX to come out.... Teach people a few lessons or two....

That video NOHook ur talkin about is on High Octane 4... I have that video.... That shit was funny when it flew off the mountain... tells me alot of the viper.... A lot of power but handling wise.... It has so much torque when it enters a turn it spins out... Can't tamed the viper to a point....

With the Gt40... do u see any1 racing in the toguq with that kind of car??? Won't u just bring a formula1 car that bunta use to race with against Takumi.... sounds even right???

....subys are made in japan owned by fuji corp.... Some of them may be assembled in UK but for the most part there made and japan and shiped out.

I excluded the GT-40 , but it is a street car and an F1 car isn't. People do some crazy things with cars. If there are modded porsches and exc. doing ralley on Tarmak couldn't those same porsches and exc.. do the Togue? Not much of a difference between a togue race and a rally on tarmak if you ask me . As for the GT-40, yes I understand it would be a mis match but that doesn't mean noone would use it if they had it. You can't tell me that if a togue racer had a GT-40 set up for the mountain passes he would leave it at home because it wouldn't be fair

the Impreza WRC is not a modified stock Impreza, it's a completely different car made by ProDrive (they also make Ferrari's M575 Maranello race car) in the UK.
