If you are going to stay w/ the stock rear suspension you might want to upgrade to the drag bag for the LS1. It has helped a friend of mine A LOT. Took him forever to get the suspension dialed in correctly from front adjustables to rear adjustables, adjustablr tq arm, pan hard bar. The drag bags seemed to help do the trick and took a lot of the squat and twist out of the launch. Also he just switched from a 26" MT to a 28" and ran much better, think he had 18lbs of pressure in them.

The motors stock, the rear suspension isn't. Stock shocks but I have bags with a stealthy valve location, so I don't have to take the wheels off to change bag pressure. I was going to try adjustables on the front before doing anything else in the rear. All Spohn cromoly parts, welded subframes, just a couple foundation upgrades to help with the occasional launch.
