Yeah. Sounded more like an NA car at the rev limit. The antilag systems I've seen/heard are more like a chainsaw sound and pop alot more. Isn't it pretty much dumb to have one if you're not doing professional racing? Tears up the engine and exhaust quicker doesn't it?

I dont think that was rev-limiter, the rpm didnt sound high enough. Just a basic two-step.

Yeah, the purpose is to hold a specific rpm and load the engine. Basically you set it at say 4k rpm for launches when racing. Typically its used more with turbo cars to create boost on the line, but other N/A racers use it as well.

Yeah, pretty much.

If you are interested, just do a google for "two-step" or something along those lines. Lots of good info out there. Also, a lot of eng. management software has something built in.

still the only reason that is back firing it beacuse its on the limiter. pretty pointless on a N/A car IMO.not on a boosted car tho

2 step basically shuts down 1/2 the engine while holding RPM and building a shit load of boost for a launch.......mine sounded similar when I forgot to plug in the driver side coil packs after doing my 1st set of headers......pop pop pop pop.....sounded like a sick ass cam.

yeah but it isn't fireing the fuel in those cylinders that way... not the best way to get a big cam sound.lol i know it wasn't intentional.
