what a car sounds like is just a matter of opinion anyways, so who gives a flying f*ck ??? Sound wont win you a race. Who wouldn't be biased twords their own countries cars anyways?? best sounding cars to me:
any small block chevy w/ a mid range cam and long tube headers 5.0L ford w/ a big cam and a h pipe set up. but that is JUST MY OPINION.....he he he

yea the americans clearly have the advantage
why does somebody want the sound that european car made, its like a garbage disposal with a spoon stuck in the blades, i like the deep rumble and roar of the US V8's, nohting sounds as good

Dragster. 8,000hp+ No one has topped that yet for a piston engine. Flat plane cranks have that exotic sound, but give up a rougher idle and more noise and vibration.
