that was lame. nice sounding ferrari tho. Why isn't it american v8 vs. Italian v8? because Italy is the only country over there that makes anything thats worth mentioning. the rest of europe are a bunch of freeloaders that take credit for italy's genius

ive not heard one of them before.ive heard the srt10 on film and that doesnt sound as nice as a ferrari. they just dont have the revy tone of a ferrari.

one of the best sounding cars IMO is a zonda v12.

nope just a little dumb i was refering back to when burgh said that he doesnt think that the new viper didnt sound as good as the f430

ehh i would say that it was a pretty dum camarosion but i think a jap car shoulda ben in there too , ****ing lawn mowers ehh i think the vr6 is one of the best sounding engines and its only 6cylinder....

Its basicly split crank vs flat crank. European sports car manufacturers moved from split to flat crank in the early 70´s, so even if he compared a 1970´s Ferrari 308 the sound diference would still be the same.

well at the end of the day u know when u hear a ferrari.theres no sound like it.where when u hear a v8 it could be anything.

but as u can tell clarkson isnt really giving american cars a chance with that car and vid..well his whole dvd is .america vs europe lol.ppl should watch the other vid on here. viper srt10 vs bmw z4m round a track.:thumb:

That DVD is soooooooooo bullshit. I love the 430 & the sound BUT imo it only sounds great at WOT at idle it sounds like a toyota tacoma. American V8's sound great at idle and WOT.
