Its pathetic to see the way they drive! Gas, brake, gas, brake, doing the time consuming right foot dance between the 2 pedals. Aren't these guys professional drivers? Why dont they used left foot braking? Dont they teach that in Japan's racing schools?

You will find that a lot of professional drivers still don't left foot brake. See it quite often in many top level classes. Only some left foot brake all of the time. And to be honest it seems to make sfa difference between those that do and those that don't.

Now I know that Damon Hill drives a lot better than those 2 Japs, but if he were to left foot brake he would've won more often against Schumacher, especially since Damon had a better car at the time!!! As for those 2 idiots driving better than me...pffft the fock I care about it, I've been driving in the dirt since 1994 so I'm pretty sure they do drive better than me like that but when the ground becomes lose and slippery I have a bit more experience.

Everyone is an expert when it comes to giving out opinion and advice to other drivers. As for driving in the dirt, that takes a different set of skills all together. I've worked in and around pro racing (ALMS and Speed World Challenge) for 3 years now and have worked with several drivers and there is no one way to be fast. The truth is the less you do to the car, the less imputs you make to the car the faster you will go. So left foot braking can help and it can hurt, it all boils down to what the driver is comfortable with and what he feels is best for him.
