the 4 rotor comes out of some luxury coupe right? Do they build a lot of all motor rotaries? I've heard people say the main reason rotaries are percieved as unreliable is that people run insane boost on them.

4 rotor's are custom built. Never released in a car. The first one that i know of was the 787B which was built for le mans at the start of the 90's. The rx7 above is the second quad rotor from new zealand, there was another one around a few years back but it has nothing on the batty.
