I want to see it beening hit by a large quad wheel trucks and a semi. hopefully it acts like a ping pong ball.

One thing that im finding is that cars with lower weight usally are better in crashes. so to me im thinking that lower the weight the less inertia energy it has, so less damages.

kinetic energy is 1/2*mass*velocity^2 so yes it does have less energy if it weighs less. and i think what you mean by inertia energy is actually momentum which is mass*velocity which would also decrease with less mass.

Take that same crash in a Ford F-150 and you'd be DEAD. Bigger isn't always better. I tell people all the time that Smart cars are safe. People rarely believe me.
