Which is faster???

just curious which do you guys think is going to be faster .............

hard to tell by the vid but

my bro's '95 Neon or my '02 Focus ZTS

Here is a vid of both cars run to 120kph. Please keep in mind that it was was a little damp out and we both were fighting for traction as you can see by the lack of tire bark on the shifts etc.

I know its not much compared of some of the crazy performance cars that we have on this site but its all we got and we are both on a tight budget. And I have to admit my bro's car is pretty sweet considering that I despise Neon's.

And yes mine is "Just a Focus".

we didnt race. due to the reason of the Neon not having any insurance and me having a Class one license. Street racing in BC is not a good idea. if the cops even suspect you are street racing they take your car, suspend your license, and throw you in jail. so just for ****s and giggles we both took a run down the same section of road. We will go head to head when Race City opens up next april

I'm not a fan of bench racing, but for laughs I'll go for it. If I had to put money on it I'd say the Focus would win, if the drivers were equal skill.

Just for the hell of it we G-Tech'd my girlfriends 95 Neon and I believe it ran an 18.3 with me driving. Not much skill involved in drag racing it though since it has no power.

i G'Teched my last 5 spd Focus and ran 16.9@77 mph but on the track my best was 17.2@76 and this Focus feels faster. and drivers of equal skill i would have to say my bro is better at launching his car than i am with mine

Like I said, I'd put my money on you, but beating a non SRT-4 Neon isn't really much to brag about. It's like beating a quadriplegic.

I vote focus too. Im assuming that neon must be sohc? My friend has a neon ACR with the DOHC and it only has CAI and a cat-back and its alot faster than the neon in that vid.

SOHC is right but car has R/T everything else
