no they sure dont. i love american muscle but the sound of a whiney Ferrari V12, or that damn engine in that freakin Carrera GT gets me going.
i do love a Ford big block more though ![]()

Look the video and you can see that vipers and corvettes are leading.
And that is normal, every time i see that class racing the US cars are in front. What comes to the "supercars" i think they are overpriced and overrated. US cars got huge potential to go fast and parts are cheap. BTW is there any performance parts on ferraries or lambos? if there is i bet they cost ****load of money. Like you guys have noticed, i love us cars..... :thumb: But hey this was only my taste. |

Maserati MC12 and the 550/575 Ferraris dominate FIA GT, but untill 2002 the fight was between the Vipers and the Lister Storms (Jaguar 7l V12).
I dont think the C6 Vette and the Viper retain pushrods for competition, if they do I would like to know how they do it. Also the Saleen S7R also do give great results, despite their tendency to lose wheels.

Yes, they got pushrods.......what is so bad about pushrods
There is Nascars that drive oval allday long with no problems 5.8l(~358cid) they are making +750hp or Dirt cars that drive on sand oval ~800hp There is sb(~350cid) mopar, ford and chevy drag engines that can make over 900hp without power adders(i have seen NA +1000hp smalblock engines too) TT Vipers are making 2000hp on crank and turbo ls1 and older style chevy engines are pushing +1500hp with low boost and so on, this turbo v8 thing is just starting i mean 1500hp v8 might be normal thing on street someday. But real overhead cam disain is better then pushrod but they cost mutch....think about if those US v8´s would be four cam egines, ooh man cam chance would be very expensive and the performance diffrence between OHC and pushrod engine aint so big. I wanna show some cool mopar sb heads : And other shot: Those heads are W8(lemans prototype) CNC Ported heads with 2,19/1,625 valves, they flow IN 353 cfm EX 261 cfm these heads will go on drag car or mayby on radical street car, owner dident know yet, yeap those heads are here in finland. Car where those heads are disained: http://www.endurancesportscar.com/01chrysler.htm Mopar has some cool small block heads. W5 W7 W8 (with these heads you can break 900hp with heavy porting and right combo) If that aint inaff then there is W9 P5 P7 Mayby someday i got money to get pair one of those heads (day dreaming) mayby with pair of turbos ![]() Sorry this did go "littlebit" offtopic and dont get me wrong, lambo is nice car ![]() Last edited by Swinger; 13 Oct 2005 at 06:01 am. |
