Default need some advice

Yeah, not a video, but car related, kinda. I have to make a decision between two shops I have been wanting to work at. One is about 7 miles from home, 13.50 an hr, I have to pay for insurance, have to work all saturdays and 2 sundays a month. The other is 20 miles from home, paid health insurance after 90 days, paid dental after 6 months, pays 13.00hr, no weekends.I have to choose on monday. Both are well established auto repair shops. What would you do?

Sounds like the 2nd one is the better choice without knowing the working conditions of either. It is farther but the benefits outweigh alot. Benefits are worth alot more than you think. Especially if you have children or are married.
Need more info about both shops to give a better opinion.

To put it blunt, the first shop is Firestone Auto Repair. Really small, as far as firestone shops go, most are huge,... this shop is maby 5 bays. In a major suburb of Saint Louis. The other is a 6 bay repair shop of shuttle vans along with normal cars. Has contracts with 5 major businesses including 2 big casino's on the miss river. Both have their good atributes.I have no kids, or wife. In 2 months or so I am going to be renting a house with 3 good friends, but for the next 2 months I am living at home with no major expenses......Just a car payment, insurance, college loan.

Sounds like the 2nd shop would be the better choice. Having your insurance paid for is a huge plus. I would choose the 2nd shop based on what you have said. 50 cents an hour less is not worth having to pay for you own insurance.
Good Luck

Thats what I was thinking.....And most of my friends have said that...Its just a hard decision...Mostly because I know both places want to hire me. But one final interview is after the other. I personally know the guy hiring at the shuttle van shop, but the guy hiring at firestone is a good friend of someone I know. I have a final interview at the Proscan, shuttlevan place, on monday. I have my final interview at firestone on Friday, and I'll just tell them to contact me on wednesday.......Both would be decent places to work at.....I guess time will tell.
