I drove up to irvine to see this and it was an awesome show--while it lasted. some dumbass crazy driver ran off the freeway and caused a fire that was coming up over the hill. too bad they kicked everyone out right before the bikini contest :banghead: but at least this video gives a taste of what it -could- have been. ah well. at least it wasn't that far to drive

I've been wondering what that huge burn spot on the hill was from.

I live like 4 minutes away from the verizon ampetheatre, i was pissed when i found out i had to work the weekend of the truck jam

yeah that's what that huge burn patch is from. I see it on the way home from work every day. what kills me is that I found out later that they re-opened the show. first they told us to wait in the parking lot, but when we got there the police were waiting to tell us to evacuate.

it was a pretty decent show overall though. my only complaint was the hopping contest--I've certainly seen better. the only trucks that got some decent height broke really quickly
