Impressive, but stupid...
"..uuuuuuu put some slashes on the tires..." "... lets take out some cylinders and cut down on the power..." F1 as been taken by a stupid safety paranoia, like thats gonna make the race more interesting. I think they should stick to the V10´s. Formula 1 cars are getting slower and slower, next thing ya know, moppeds will be faster.

Thats gonna make'em run like a boat because F1's have a very very narrow power band and is right at redline, thats why they have 7 gears...to always be in the power band, now if they can only do 16k rpms thats gonna hurt them a lot, but then again a 2.4L V8 is not going to have much more power, who knows?!?!

hmm interesting...
I know at the Denver Grand Prix this year.. the Champ cars were running turbocharged V8's! Noo way they are downgrading the new F1 cars to the same size engines as the Champ cars!
