I recently bought a car that was imported from the U.S, I knew that it was in an accident. But when I checked at Carfax, it tells me that it's title is junk. Although, the chassis is not harmed. Now the car is fixed and goes like the day it first came out from the dealership. I was wondering, if I take it back to the U.S, will they change the title and I can register it. I really don't know the rules there.

Not sure about other states, but in North Carolina, you have to have the vehicle inspected by DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) and when/if they sign off on it, you can apply for a new title/non-salvage title.
