I don't think I like it, discuss.. I'm not sold on it, would rather buy a Vette for the price.
The trunk is not a hatch....weird to see a place to actually put shit...The automatic just looks like crap, the cloth seats (if you get them) look the a dodge ram 2500's seats, and are about just as comfortable. It has paddle shifters on the steering wheel, but they just seem sloppy and overall lazy transmission. And not to mention the weight of the car, jesus christ that thing felt heavy. Like im talking GTO heavy, with just about the same power. The 6spd black car that was on display as well in the pictures i posted was alright, like the feel of the shifter, was a pretty short throw, gauge cluster looks like a mustangs. plus's i guess are the newly added trunk space, i could fit track tires in the back along with other crap, and perhaps a decent sub box. another down fall is NO t tops... Hrmm. at least no leaks. Engine bay is covered in plastic, and car looks fat as hell. Might need to get some more WOT time with one to determine if i really like it, but as of now, i dont like it, felt like a mustang, just a tad faster. Windsheild also was REALLY short and narrow, not much to look out of. I did like how the doors weren't 100 ****ing pounds and smaller then they are on my car, back seat was decent, you could actually put a few teenage white trash ****s back there. |

^ actually it comes in ahead of the challenger in most all performance categories, unless you are speaking personal preference.

im with u on this rams, the more i see the new camaro the less i like it, when i first saw it i luved it but im having my douts now. i dont like the back at all on it even though its beter than the new mustangs, body looks to buldgy cheap and plasticy, almost doesnt look like a car. i dont think the peformance numbers live up to the hype ether, i mean for the amount of power it has its only a couple tenths faster than the mustang with 115 more hp? a couple bolt ons on the pony wil settle that. for the price power and specs it diffently coulda done better, it shoulda ben smaller, or alteast figureed out some weight saving. not a big fan of the new mustang ether but i deffently say it takes it for bang for the buck

Ya, I'll pass. I think it looks ugly as hell. Its the front that looks funny to me, I just don't know!!!~

^^ remember, power to weight ratios. The camaro is 400 lbs heavier than the mustang. Simple cam swaps in the LS3 based vettes have proved near 500 rwhp ( 490's average ), so the camaro is just begging to be modded. Add a set of heads and a full exhaust w/ some other bolt-ons and 550 rwhp is not out of reach.

^ barely out perform? The camaro is over 1/2 sec faster in the 1/4 mile, faster 0-60, handles better and stops better, and is better in the slolum(sp?)....and they are very close in price. The Camaro also has a proven solid engine with the LS3, they are solid, powerful, and respond better to mods in N/A form than any other LS series engine. Having a car that, with heads/cam/exhaust/bolt-ons that makes 550 to the wheels N/A is going to be a hard combo to beat, and it will get 20+ MPG and no gas guzzler tax.
I will 100% agree with you that the stang needs to go back to its roots and get the ol' pushrod 5.0L back. Just upgrade to more aggressive cam, better flowing heads, a modern intake and then Ford would have the GM boys on the run if they stayed the same weight. I will also agree on the looks of the front of the Camaro, not so good. The back is well done and the GM designers have made this a power lovers dream. GM high tech perf. magazine has showed all the improved areas, such as a TON of room to do full exhaust ( headers and keep true duels ) The car comes with a fully adjustable rear suspension ( basically saying let's go to the track) and a very good close ratio T60/60 6 speed. Once the mod games starts on both sides of the playing field, then it will be very interseting indeed.
