Porsche has released photos of the new 2010 911 GT3 ahead of its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March and the revised model incorporates a number of improvements that make it more powerful than its predecessor. The naturally aspirated flat-six has been enlarged to 4.0 liters and now produces 435 horsepower, good for a 0-100 km / h sprint in 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 193 mph. And handling is improved, with a modification of the stability of the management system that allows graduated from the configuration of the stability and traction control, along with the expansion of carbon-ceramic brakes to improve stopping distance. 1 thing I love about Porsche is they don't throw plans in the garbage and start over. They refine their designs (obsessively) That's why they r what they r. I hope they never change

The new 2010 Porsche 911 GT3 surpasses the previous model in performance with a larger 3.8-liter, 6-cylinder Boxer engine that features a boost in midrange torque, offering a dramatic increase in everyday driving performance. The limited-edition GT3 accelerates to 60 mph in just 4.0 seconds and reaches a top track speed of 194 mph. The latest GT3 also receives updates to the suspension, refined aerodynamics with a 100% increase in downforce and new, larger brakes.

The new GT3 offers even better grip and stability also at high speeds, specific modifications of the car’s aerodynamics increasing down-forces both front and rear to such an extent that the overall pressure pushing down the car is more than twice as great as on the former model.
